Ideal products will not be supported on the initial release of the
Microsoft Vista OS. We are, and will continue to work towards
supporting Vista as quickly as possible while maintaining the
quality and reliability of our products. We are also working to
ensure that the third-party products and drivers required by our
customers (e.g., credit card processing software, printer drivers,
scanner drivers, etc.) continue to function reliably on the new
platform.
Ideal will continue to provide limited, “best
effort” support for Windows 98, Windows ME, and Windows XP SP1.
Microsoft ended support for Windows ME/98 in July of 2006 and ended
XP SP1 support in October of 2006.
Ideal recommends that customers who are using
Windows 98, Windows ME, or Windows XP SP1 upgrade to Windows XP SP2.
