This is a Service Release for customers operating
with Pawn, version 4.1a or higher.
Early Redemption Warning – The word “EARLY!” will
appear in red letters now next to the “Days from pawn” on
the redemption screen if a pawn is being redeemed before the “pawn
date”. This will only happen if a customer renews before
the maturity date, then wants to redeem before that new renewal
would’ve been necessary. Some states may require you not
to charge for that early renewal in those cases, so we print “EARLY” to
alert you to the situation.
