The IDEAL Staff Feature: Cindy Roland, Director of Support In this issue of Software Solutions, we are very excited to feature Cindy Roland, Director of Support. Cindy comes to Ideal from Lockheed Martin Astronautics, in Littleton, CO. Cindy’s long career with Lockheed Martin began in her native Southern California, where she developed her extensive management, planning and human resources skills at Lockheed’s Vandenberg Air Force Base facility near Santa Maria, CA. Rapid advancement moved Cindy to San Diego where her career in the space program moved her from administrative roles to direct involvement in engineering, manufacturing and resource planning. Subsequent advancements moved Cindy to Colorado where she was a senior planner on the NASA Mars Global Surveyor project. You may remember the Surveyor as the one that didn't crash! While at the forefront of the Ideal Support team, Cindy has been instrumental in implementing significant improvements that have provided direct benefits to all of our customers. Under Cindy's leadership, support efficiency has been improved exponentially, and her team of talented specialists are always ready when our clients need help the most. When Cindy isn't busy managing her large support team or taking care of her two children, she enjoys sailing, the beach, gardening and shopping.
